Neurodivergent Health within Women’s Health and Maternal Health

I am a late diagnosed AuDHD woman.

I was diagnosed AuDHD - Autistic and ADHD - years into motherhood.

And now I’m using my experience to inform my Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Practice. To inform the way I offer support for women’s health, perinatal health, maternal health.

My own neurodivergent (ND) exploration and diagnosis prompted me to go back through everything I know to be true about women's, perinatal and maternal health to overlay a necessary ND Health lens.

To see the impact it has on the physical, the mental, the emotional - all of it.

An Neurodivergent Health informed lens creates a more complete and more compassionate approach to optimising women’s health experiences and outcomes.

For me, I learned a lot the long way round. It was much harder and more laborious than it needed to be. And we shouldn’t have to learn about how to work with neurodiversity the long way round. It shouldn’t have to feel like a slog.

So I’m stepping into offering In Clinic Support, Online Support, and Small Groups tailored for late diagnosed Neurodivergent Women and Mothers.

In Neurodivergent Womanhood and Neurodivergent Motherhood, so much is possible when we actually have the tools and knowledge to make it make sense.

And if this is you. Just know. You’re doing a great job navigating a hard thing.

You’re doing a good job - even - and especially - when you don’t feel like it.
